Our Scholar-in-Residence is Rabbi Larry Ziffer.

Rabbi Ziffer serves as a consultant to the Charles Crane Family Foundation, and until recently, was the CEO of Baltimore’s Center for Jewish Education (CJE).

The older students will perform Shabbos themed performances for the younger students.

Beth Tfiloh Congregation

Beth Tfiloh is sharing Shabbat with a delegation of Jewish Educators and Teens from Hungary. They will be participating in our davening and Shabbat meals with congregants, teachers and students.

Also joining us to honor this special Shabbat Project Shabbat are the members of the University of Maryland Jewish A Capella Group, Rak Shalom who will enhance our Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat, Shabbat morning and Seudah Shelishit.

We will have special morning classes for adults, a women’s parsha class, a welcoming Coffee Club,   6 children’s services for infants through Grade 12. Our children are invited to join the Chazzan on the bema for Adon Olam and then receive a special treat from the Rabbi.
